Run by the midwives. Newly pregnant mothers should come into the surgery to collect a Maternity Pack and complete an Ante Natal Referral form. They can then ring the midwives to make an appointment. There is no need to see a GP.
All the Doctors give contraceptive and family planning advice. Dr Parbat and Dr Boucher are family planning trained and can fit implants and coils. If you would like to consider an implant or coil as a method of contraception, please book an initial consultation with either of them.
Part of routine child surveillance programme organised by our Health Visitors.
Are asked to complete a pre-registration form to give a brief medical history prior to full records being received.
Simple tests may be performed at an appointment. E.g: blood pressure, weight, and urine.
We operate the recommended re-call system for cervical Smear testing. This service is run by our Practice Nurses, supported by a Doctor. All results are double-checked on their return to the surgery. In the event of an abnormal result, the patient will be contacted and further management explained.

Minor Surgery & Joint Injections:
Dr Anwer performs minor surgical procedures in a dedicated clinic at the surgery. If you have a symptomatic skin lesion or lump, please see him during a routine appointment and if appropriate, he will book you into his clinic. Both Dr Anwer and Dr Parbat perform joint injections for shoulder, knees, elbows and wrists.
